Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year

Get ready for the new year with these key dates and times, school supply lists, and other information.

First Day of Classes

Our school office is open Monday to Friday, starting August 20.

Student Timetables Will Be Released on August 20 by 4:00pm

  • Students new to the CBE will have to create a MyCBE Account to see their timetable. To do so please follow the instructions below: https://support.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe-creating-account
  • Students will attend their first period class where teachers will support students transition back to school
  • We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to ensure a smooth and successful start to the school year

Course Change Information

  • September 2
    • Any student that has "see counselor" in their timetable must come to student services in that block to see their guidance counselor
  • September 3
    • All day in the East Courtyard, any students that are requesting timetable adjustments may lineup to see their counselor
  • Please note course change criteria will be focused on movement between core course streams.  We will not be able to adjust student schedules for the following reasons: request to be in the same class as a friend, request for a specific teacher, request to remove courses previously selected, repeating a course. Our timetable has been constructed using student requests, with a focus on ensuring students are in the best positioning to achieve high school success.
